(June 2010), Diploma in Outdoor Recreation Management,
Diploma in Fitness Leadership, Certified in Weight
Training, Group Fitness, Yoga Fitness, Personal
Training, Fitness Kickboxing, Youth Fitness Specialist &
Bosu Instructor.
Health and wellness have always played a large part in
Michelle’s life. She grew up being a healthy and active
kid with a passion for keeping fit, sports and playing
outdoors. The Fitness and Recreation industry has been a
part of her working life since she was 15 years old. She
has had the opportunity to work and travel within this
industry to well over 35 countries in the world but her
love for this beautiful province, family and friends
would always bring her back home to the North Shore.
Michelle has a diverse post secondary education and is
continually furthering her education, improving herself,
growing her business and ever evolving within the Health
and Fitness Industry. Michelle founded Evolve Fitness
and Urban Hiit in 2007 and has Evolved it to become part
of Storm Fitness Inc.
Michelle’s own personal success and motivation comes
from seeing her clients empowered to make that permanent
lifestyle change creating a physical, mental and
spiritual balance. There is so much in life to
experience, Michelle loves inspiring others to get
living! |
Briar Davis
You are
never a loser until you quit trying. — Mike Ditka
Diploma
in Fitness Leadership, Certified in Weight Training,
Personal Training, Fitness Kick Boxing, Youth Fitness
Specialist, CPR and First Aid. Former College Athlete
Briar is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys a variety of
sports and recreational activities. She grew up in the
trails and mountains of the North Shore.
After playing college volleyball for two years, Briar
started attending boot camp and was inspired. She
enrolled in a college education program for Fitness
Leadership. She believes that through having a strong
work ethic and a positive attitude anyone can reach
their fitness goals. Briar brings lots of energy and
motivation to her classes. She is an inspiration and a
great role model for young athletes.
Briar has been Personal Training
and pushing everyone’s limits at Urban Hiit and the
Youth Fitness Classes. She is a great addition to the
Storm Fitness Team.

Karly Mahood
Life is
like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you’ve got
to keep moving — Albert Einstein
Certified in Weight Training, Personal Training, Indoor
Cycling, Fitness Kick Boxing, CPR and First Aid. Karly
is also a visual artist, new mother and former elite
athlete.
Karly is the youngest member of a dynamic family of
elite athletes. Karly’s grandfather founded the Capilano
Rugby Club, her cousin is an Olympian, her mother is a
brown belt kick-boxer and Karly is a British Columbia
Soccer team Alumna.
In addition to her
certifications, Karly brings this history of athletic
discipline to her clients in the form of an exacting
approach to correct body movement and form for an injury
free workout and optimum results. She brings balance to
her clients’ fitness programs through a holistic
approach to physical and spiritual health, beauty, and
success. Whether you are 70 or 17, Karly believes
anything is possible...if you just keep moving. Karly
has been kicking everyone’s butt in our Urban Hiit and
Body Exchange Classes. She is an inspiration to Moms! |
